Him to Me

The “Him to Me” category includes God’s responses to my thoughts from the “Me to Him” section, and also God’s thoughts directed towards me in general.

Do You Claim to Know the Thoughts of God?
Yes and no. I believe the Bible is the Word of God (John 1:1-2,14).
God’s words would initially proceed from His thoughts, thus, the Bible gives us a glimpse into God’s thoughts, character, personality, and creativity. Also, if we read and understand the words, thoughts, and actions of Jesus, we ultimately understand these same things of God the Father (John 14:8-11). But on the other hand, I do not know EVERYTHING about God and cannot predict ANYTHING He’s about to do, except for that which He’s revealed in His Word (the Bible). God’s thoughts are not my thoughts–they supersede anything beyond my wildest imaginations (Isaiah 55:8-9)!! Thus I claim to know the principles, doctrines, and prophecies that God has chosen to reveal about Himself in the Bible.

Is God Speaking Directly To You?
Yes, meaning He does impress my mind with thoughts that I know did not come from Me and are in accordance with the Bible when reevaluated so they aren’t from the Adversary either. This only leaves the Holy Spirit as the last option who  communicates in such a way that I understand Him. If God isn’t the One speaking directly to me in this section, then someone else is–and that my friends, is a major problem because it skews the authenticity of God being the One who communicates to me in this section. WHATEVER YOU SEE WRITTEN IN THIS SECTION IS NOT VERBATIM FROM GOD. HE MAY LEAD ME TO A TEXT IN THE BIBLE, A THOUGHT-INSPIRATION, OR EVEN TO HIS WORK IN WORK, WHICH WILL INSPIRE A RESPONSE THAT I PRAYERFULLY BELIEVE HE IS COMMUNICATING TO ME. If you’re wondering, I do not have any multiple personality disorders. I believe that the concept of prayer is simply conversing with our God, and a conversation is a dialogue between at least two people–and this blog would not be a conversation if God had nothing to say during this ongoing prayer-blogging experience!
